Tiree is the windiest place in the UK and get's a great swell too. Crystal clear water and uncrowded white sandy beaches... this island is special. 90% of people on the island have a watersport passion so it's a cool vibe and friendly atmosphere.

Conjured by wind and water, a magical landscape on the northeastern coast of Brazil is no mirage.

Seen from the air, the dunes look like white linens hung out to dry on a windy afternoon. The name of this place, Lençóis Maranhenses, means the “bedsheets of Maranhão”, the state in Brazil where the half-moon-shaped dunes are found.

This video was filmed exploring off the grid it Scotland. Mostly in The Isle of Tiree which is the most westerly island of the Hebrides. 

Tiree is prefect for Kitesurfing, surfing and windsurfing. Stunning turquoise water and white sandy beaches. It’s windy almost every day! The island has a real watersports vibe with some of the most friendly people I have ever met. 

Explored a few other spots on the mainland of Scotland along the way.

There’s something special about Cape Town. The energy, the vibes, the people, I can’t get enough of this place. The strong wind & big kicker waves provides perfect conditions for Extreme Kitesurfing. This year I wanted to step out of my comfort zone of freestyle and push the extreme side of my riding.. big air, kiteloops. My adrenaline was off the chart in Cape Town. The feeling of pushing it harder is so rewarding and terrifying at the same time.

'Summer Drive' Kitesurfing movie | Hannah Whiteley |

This interview was filmed for the final event of the 2016 World Kiteboarding League in New Caledonia. It was a fantastic final and the build up before the event was ecstatic. All the girls had been training super hard in Brazil before the event, taking kitesurfing for woman to the next level. This interview gives you an insight on how I feel before competition, the excitement, the neves and looking forward to visiting a new place!

I'm really happy to finish 2nd overall in 2016 World Kiteboarding League. I feel motivated and excited for the upcoming 2017 WKL freestyle competitions.

Santa Whiteley

This video was filmed in various rainwater pools of the Lençóis Maranhenses National park. The literal meaning being ‘’The bedsheets of Maranhão’’ and is easier to understand why when viewed from an ariel perspective. Some say it looks just like linen hung out to dry with all the fresh water pools acting as ripples in the linen blowing in the wind. A natural beauty as a whole, this national park is one of the most fascinating on earth. After seeing pictures on the internet I had to find out myself if it truly looked like this with my own eyes and, of course, if I could kite there..
